Planning applications

Marston Planning has an excellent track record in the preparation, lodgement and management of planning applications throughout Ireland.  We have a proven experience in providing the best development advice to our clients.  Our knowledge of planning law and procedure is central to our skill base, and the value of our advice is evident in the rate of repeat business with clients and architects.  This ensures that applications are lodged that are cognisant of all relevant legislation, policy, design and environmental guidelines.  We are engaged in a wide range of projects from protected structure extensions and one off housing to major commercial developments.  The principal – Anthony Marston – is a chartered town planner accredited by the Irish Planning Institute and Royal Town Planning Institute.

Our role in the planning process includes:

  • Development and pre-planning advice based on our extensive knowledge and experience in planning policy and best practice;
  • pre-planning discussions with Planning Authorities to maximise the potential of achieving a successful outcome and to minimise time taken to process the application;
  • expertise in planning application procedure including fees, preparation of planning notices and all validation matters;
  • project management of planning application process;
  • planning reports setting out how the proposal complies with local and national policy, precedent for granting permission, and an overall case for granting the scheme that accompanies the planning application; and
  • retail impact statements.

We advise clients on a wide range of residential and commercial development projects.  Our excellent working relationship with Council’s, allied with our strong reputation contribute to a high success rate for a variety of clients.
